Secret Princess: A Memoire
It has taken a long time for me to get to a place in my life where I have the courage to write this memoire. Over the years, I've shared some of the more sadly humorous stories of my challenging childhood and adulthood and have been surprised by the sometimes incredulous reactions of friends, and by the numerous requests to turn these stories into a book. Like the authors of Glass Castle or the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, there were many painful, character-forming moments in my childhood, but this book, like those, is ultimately a hopeful story of a life filled with the search for love and belonging.
